Lucknow: Several incidents of misbehavior with passengers during train and air travel seen in the last few days. A similar case came to light on Tuesday, but here the misbehavior was not done by a co-passenger but by the TTE of the train itself. A drunk Travel Ticket Examiner (TTE) has allegedly urinated on a woman’s head in Akal Takht Express on Sunday, a Government Railway Police (GRP) official said. The woman was travelling with her husband Rajesh Kumar, both hailing from Amritsar.

According to Lucknow GRP SHO, Rajesh was traveling in A-1 coach with his wife. Around 12 midnight almost all the passengers were asleep, Rajesh’s wife was also sleeping on her seat, it is alleged that then TTE Munna Kumar urinated on her. As per the information received, TTE Munna Kumar, hailing from Bihar, has been arrested following the complaint of the woman. The incident happened on Sunday midnight in the A1 coach of Akal Takht Express which was going from Amritsar to Kolkata, the GRP official said.

The TTE was then handed over to the GRP when the train reached Charbagh Railway station, Lucknow, on Monday. TTE has been sent to judicial custody.
