ATGM has been tested on multiple platforms
According to DRDO, this fully indigenous ATGM is fitted with a High Explosive Anti-Tank Warhead, due to which it can destroy such tanks and armored vehicles which are fitted with Explosive Reactive Armor (ERA). This ATGM has been tested on multiple platforms and the current test was also done with 120 mm rifle gun of MBT Arjun tank.

Let us tell you that a large number of tanks have been used in the Russia-Ukraine war. But these tanks have also been destroyed by using advanced ATGMs. In such a situation, ATGM is going to play an important role in any war. According to DRDO, achieving the target in low-lying areas with any tank remains a big challenge. But MBT Arjun has successfully accomplished this through indigenous ATGM.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has congratulated DRDO and Indian Army on the successful test of indigenous ATGM. He said that the development of indigenous ATGM is a positive step towards self-reliant India in the defense sector of the country.
