Dehradun: After the smoking incident inside the SpiceJet flight, a case has been registered on Youtuber under another incident. In Dehradun, Uttarakhand, YouTuber Bobby Kataria is getting overwhelmed by drinking alcohol while sitting on a chair by stopping the traffic on the road. A court has issued a non-bailable warrant (NBW) against him. After that now Dehradun Police can arrest him anytime. Police team has left for Haryana to arrest Bobby Kataria.
In fact, last week, a video of Bobby Kataria drinking alcohol on a road in Dehradun went viral. After this video surfaced, Uttarakhand DGP Ashok Kumar ordered SSP Dehradun to take action against Bobby Kataria. Police investigation revealed that this video is from Dehradun’s Kimari Marg. After this, the Cantt Kotwali police registered a case against Bobby Kataria under IPC sections 290, 510, 336, 342 and 67 IT Act.
Where this incident happened, his friend from Dehradun was also present along with Kataria. After registering the case, the police had sent a notice to Kataria for questioning. On this, his lawyer had said that he would come for questioning, but did not come. After this, the police issued him a notice again. Even on this he did not come. Notice was sent to him for the third time also, but Bobby Kataria did not appear. After this, now the police has obtained a non-bailable warrant for the arrest of Kataria from the court.
Bobby Kataria and controversy
According to the police, Bobby Kataria was in Dehradun on July 23. He, along with his friend Gaurav Khandelwal, had gone to visit Kimari Marg on July 25. The viral video is also of Kimari Marg.
Earlier, another video of Bobby Kataria went viral. In this, he was seen smoking a cigarette on a Spice Jet flight from Dubai to Delhi. This video was also viral on social media. A case was registered against him for being found violating the security rules. In this case, SpiceJet had said that the viral video is from January 2022. SpiceJet had filed a case against Kataria at Udyog Vihar police station in Gurugram.
He earlier faced flak after an old video showed him smoking on a SpiceJet flight following which Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia had ordered an investigation.
SpiceJet had said the smoking incident had taken place on its Dubai-Delhi flight on January 20 when passengers were boarding the plane and the cabin crew members were busy completing the on-boarding procedure.
After investigation, the airline had put the passenger on the “no flying list” for 15 days in February, it mentioned.
According to regulations of aviation regulator DGCA, an airline has the power to ban an “unruly” passenger for a certain period of time if he or she violates any rules.
