Arunachal Pradesh: On Saturday, BJP MLA Phosum Khimhun died of a heart attack. He was 63-years-old. He was an MLA for three decades. Due to the demise of Fosum Khimhun, there has been a wave of mourning in the politics of the entire state.

According to the information received, MLA Fosum Khimhun was admitted to the hospital after his health deteriorated late last night and he died during treatment this morning.

He was elected from the 52-Changlang South seat in the 2014 Arunachal Pradesh Assembly elections as a candidate of the People’s Party of Arunachal.

He won the seat again in 2019 on a BJP ticket. The MLA is survived by his wife and two children. It is noteworthy that Fosum Khimhun had joined BJP in 2019 itself.
