Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal praised his wife, Sunita Kejriwal, for her role in the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) election campaign. Accompanying her husband at campaign events for the first time, Sunita Kejriwal was described as “Jhansi Ki Rani” by Arvind Kejriwal for her leadership during his absence.

Sunita Kejriwal’s Role
Arvind Kejriwal highlighted his wife’s contributions to the campaign, particularly during his time in jail. He mentioned how she managed campaign activities and communicated his messages to the public, comparing her dedication and strength to that of the historic figure, Jhansi Ki Rani.

Arvind Kejriwal’s Statements
At a meeting in East Delhi’s Gandhi Nagar, Arvind Kejriwal said, “Today I have brought my wife with me. She took charge of everything in my absence. When I was in jail, she used to come to meet me and relay messages to you. She is like Jhansi ki Rani.”

Sunita Kejriwal’s Appeal
ddressing the public, Sunita Kejriwal urged voters to support AAP to prevent her husband from being jailed again. She said, “It is because of your blessings that my husband is here today. God helps those who do the right thing. Now, if you don’t want my husband to go back to jail, vote for AAP on May 25.”

Kejriwal’s Criticism of Modi
Election Slogans, Kejriwal tweaked BJP’s 2014 slogan, asserting, “Acche din aane waale hain, Modi ji jaane waale hain,” expressing confidence in the INDIA bloc’s victory in the upcoming elections. He reiterated his promise of full statehood for Delhi if elected.

Attacks on Modi
At a Shahdara rally, Kejriwal criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for using disrespectful language towards political opponents, including Sharad Pawar. He emphasized the need to respect elders, stating, “Modi ji is 74 years old. One should respect elders.”

Roadshows and Rally Participation
Support for AAP Candidates: Kejriwal participated in roadshows across several East Delhi constituencies, including Kondli, Trilokpuri, and Jangpura, supporting AAP candidate Kuldeep Kumar.

He encouraged Congress supporters to vote for AAP in constituencies where AAP candidates were contesting and urged AAP supporters to reciprocate for Congress candidates in other areas.

Polling Date
Delhi will vote for all seven Lok Sabha seats on May 25, with results announced on June 4. Kejriwal remains optimistic about AAP’s success and the broader victory of the INDIA bloc.
