New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal claimed on Saturday that jailed conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar may join the BJP at any time after the conman’s second letter ignited a debate over the much-publicized educational model used by the Delhi government.
“Sukesh Chandrashekhar has been learning the language of the BJP at a rapid speed. Even the BJP urged Kejriwal to take a lie detector test. Kejriwal said, he is now being prepared to join the BJP. “He is about to join the BJP,” said Arvind Kejriwal.
“Sukesh should be the star campaigner for the saffron party. At least at rallies, people will come to see him and hear his stories because, at BJP rallies, huge crowds gather. He should be inducted and become party leader, he added.
Kejriwal responded angrily a day after conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar claimed to have arranged the PR for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government’s Delhi schools’ story.
Chandrasekhar claimed in a letter to the media that “USD 8.5 lakh and 15% additional commission were granted to the PR for promoting the Delhi school model tale in the American news,”
Earlier, Sukesh had claimed in a letter to Delhi LG VK Saxena that he had given Rs 10 crore as “protection money” to imprisoned AAP minister Satyendar Jain.
He asserted that all of the claims he made in his two letters were accurate, adding, “I am prepared for a polygraph test.” Every accusation I make in my letters is accurate: “If AAP is right, then Arvind Kejriwal and Satyendra Jain would not have any issues with getting their polygraph tests conducted.”
