In the case related to Delhi liquor scam, the investigating agency on Tuesday got permission to present Arvind Kejriwal in the concerned trial court on Wednesday. CM Kejriwal was produced today in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court. After this, CBI has formally arrested Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party’s National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal.
During the hearing in Rouse Avenue Court, Kejriwal said that his sugar level is going down. He said that I want tea and biscuits. The court gave permission. CBI has arrested Kejriwal and wants to take him into custody and interrogate him regarding liquor policy. CBI has asked for five days’ custody.

Advocate Vivek Jain, appearing for Kejriwal, said that an application is being filed seeking supply of the application and orders passed for questioning by the CBI. Chaudhary said that this is one of the most sensitive cases which will also be recorded in the history and development of jurisprudence. Chaudhary said that the investigating agency has acted in a very biased manner. One person is in custody in a case. It is settled law that he can be arrested in another case also, but we are working as per due process here. He prayed that the hearing be postponed till tomorrow and the documents be shared with Kejriwal’s legal team so that they can come prepared by tomorrow.

CBI lawyer said that these are unnecessary allegations. We could have done this before or during the elections. We didn’t do that. This inquiry was done only after the permission of the court.
