Coach Rahul Dravid could not leave for Dubai with the Indian squad on 23 August due to positive in the Covid test. But now Dravid recovers and join team India in Dubai.

New Delhi: Good news for Indian team as head coach Dravid is back in UAE all set to join team India. Team India coach Rahul Dravid has reached UAE before the Asia Cup 2022 match between the teams of India and Pakistan. The former Indian veteran arrived in Dubai on Saturday night and will be present in the Indian camp ahead of the India-Pakistan clash tonight.

According to the news, VVS Laxman, who was made the interim coach of Team India in Dravid’s absence, will return to India today. That is, Laxman will not be present during the great match between India and Pakistan today.

The reason for Dravid’s absence from the Indian team, who arrived to play the Asia Cup, was the former captain coming positive in the Kovid Test. Due to which Dravid could not travel to Dubai with the Indian team on 23 August

After which the BCCI appointed Laxman as the interim coach of the team. Along with Laxman, the team’s vice-captains KL Rahul, Deepak Hooda and Avesh Khan also reached Dubai from Harare. Let us inform that Rahul was out of Team India for a long time due to injury and he returned to the squad with the Zimbabwe tour.
