India has won a total of 15 medals with the help of three gold, as many silver medals and six bronze. On the fourth day of the Asian Games, Indian shooters will be seen competing in various events in an attempt to aim for gold.
New Delhi: India will be hoping for some more medals from its shooters today in the Asian Games 2023. India got five medals on the first day of the competition, six on the second day and three on the third day. India is sixth in the medal table with a total of 15 medals. India clinched silver in the women’s 50m air rifle 3 positions team event, at the ongoing Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou on Wednesday. Day 4 saw Sift Kaur Samra, Ashi Chouksey and Manini Kaushik lead India to a second-placed finish in the women’s 50m air rifle 3 positions team event.

Meanwhile, Sift also finished in second place in women’s 50m rifle 3 positions qualification, with Chouksey in sixth place. The pair will be eyeing medals in the final. Sift also broke the Asian Games and Asian record. Meanwhile, Rohit Jadhav finished in eighth place in the wushu men’s Daoshu final. In swimming, Nina Venkatesh failed to qualify for the women’s 100m butterfly final, finishing 14th in the heats.
