Assam: Assam Police has achieved a great success on anti-terror activities. Assam Police has arrested two suspected terrorists. It is being told that both these terrorists are associated with the banned terrorist organization Al Qaeda (AQIS) and Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT). Some documents have been confiscated from the arrested persons. The arrested persons have been identified as Abdus Subhan, Imam of Tinkunia Shantipur Mosque under Mornoi police station and Jalaluddin Sheikh, Imam of Tilapara Natun Mosque under Matia police station in Goalpara, after they were grilled by the police for several hours.

Further investigation is being done to find out their links. In West Bengal too, a large module of terror was busted by the Special Task Force. Assam Police has given information about the arrested terrorists on Sunday morning. Two suspected terrorists belonging to the terrorist organization Al Qaeda (AQIS) and Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT) were arrested by the police in Goalpara district last night, police said. These arrested terrorists are being interrogated. The police is gathering information about who is with them and what is their plan.

Goalpara SP VV Rakesh Reddy said that the arrested terrorists have direct links with Barpeta and Morigaon modules of AQIS/ABT. Mobile phones, SIM cards and ID cards were seized along with a lot of incriminating material related to al-Qaeda, jihadist elements, posters and other documents from the search of his house. A fresh case has been registered at Matia police station case number under the sections 120(B), 121, 121 (A) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) RW and sections 18, 18 (B), 19, and 20 of the UA(P) Act.

Let us tell you that recently in West Bengal also the Special Task Force busted a big module of terror. The STF had arrested two suspected terrorists belonging to the Indian continental faction of al-Qaeda. It is being told that the accused have been identified as Abdur Rakib Sarkar and Qazi Ahsan Ullah. The provocative and provocative documents were recovered from them by the officials. which are being investigated.

Let us tell you that at the end of last month, Assam Police has busted two terrorist modules. Police interrogated 11 people associated with Al Qaeda and Assam terrorist organization by taking them into custody. After which 8 people were arrested for being involved in terrorist conspiracies.
