New Delhi: A road accident happened in Kakopathar area of Tinsukia district of Assam on Tuesday night. At least 7 people died and 12 others were injured in the accident.
New Delhi: A road accident happened in Kakopathar area of Tinsukia district of Assam on Tuesday night. At least 7 people died and 12 others were injured in the accident.
According to the information, the incident took place in Kakopathar area where a speeding truck rammed into the Tata Magic vehicle in which the deceased and injured persons were traveling.
Tinsukia district’s Additional Superintendent of Police Vibhas Das told the media over phone that seven people have died in the incident.
Vibhas Das said, “A total of 12 people were injured in the incident and were taken to the hospital. We have taken the truck driver into custody.”
