Assam: Telecom operator Airtel launches of 5G services in Guwahati

Mumbai: On Monday, India leading telecommunications company Bharti Airtel said that it has rolled out the latest 5G services in Guwahati, the gateway to the Northeast. Bharti Airtel said in a statement that Airtel 5G Plus services would be available to customers in a phased manner as the service provider continues to construct its network and complete the roll-out.

Mumbai: On Monday, India leading telecommunications company Bharti Airtel said that it has rolled out the latest 5G services in Guwahati, the gateway to the Northeast. Bharti Airtel said in a statement that Airtel 5G Plus services would be available to customers in a phased manner as the service provider continues to construct its network and complete the roll-out.

The company futher said, “Customers with 5G enabled devices will enjoy high-speed Airtel 5G Plus network at no extra cost until the rollout is more widespread” , adding that the latest technology is available at select locations in the city.

The company said the ‘Airtel 5G Plus’ will bolster the entire portfolio of services that it offers. Currently operating at Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Dispur College, Ganeshguri, Christian Basti, Sri Nagar, Chidiyaghar Road, Lachit Nagar, Ulubari, Bhangagarh and Beltola and a few other select locations on GS Road, the company said Airtel will Over time expand your network to provide your services across the city.

“I am thrilled to announce the launch of Airtel 5G Plus in Guwahati. Airtel customers can now experience ultrafast network and enjoy speeds up to 20-30 times faster than the current 4G speeds. We are lighting up the entire city, allowing customers to enjoy superfast access to High-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos and more”, Commenting on the launch, Rajnish Verma, Chief Executive Officer, Bharti Airtel for Assam and North-East, said.

“In addition, it will allow superfast access to high definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos and more”, the company said.With this launch, India will get a fillip to economic growth as the 5G services will help various sectors like education, healthcare, manufacturing, agriculture, mobility and logistics, the statement said.
