In tandem with this update, the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust released photos capturing the ongoing construction at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir. The temple’s progress, under the careful supervision of the Trust, is evident in the shared images, highlighting intricate carvings adorning the sacred space.

Champat Rai provided insight into the progress of the idol of Lord Ram, revealing, “At Ram Janambhoomi temple, a 4’3″ idol depicting a five-year-old child form of Lord Ram is nearing completion at three locations in Ayodhya. Crafted by three artisans on separate pieces of stone, these idols are 90 percent ready, with final touches expected to be completed within a week.”

Anticipating the grand moment, he mentioned, “The idol will be installed in the ‘Grabhgriha’ on the ground floor, and with the ground floor nearing completion, there will be no hindrance to the ‘Praan-Pratishtha’ (consecration ceremony).”

The inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, set for January 22 next year, will witness the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Vedic rituals for the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony will commence on January 16, a week prior to the main ceremony, with Lakshmi Kant Dixit leading the pivotal rituals.

To accommodate the influx of devotees, Ayodhya is preparing tent cities, with arrangements made for 10,000-15,000 people, as confirmed by the Sri Ram Janambhoomi Trust. Local authorities are actively implementing enhanced security measures and logistical arrangements, ensuring a smooth and secure experience for all attendees.
