Since its inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 22, 2024, the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya has become a focal point of pilgrimage, attracting an impressive average of 1.5 lakh devotees daily, as reported by the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra.
As devotees flock to seek blessings at the revered site, the trust overseeing the temple has outlined key rules and regulations to ensure a smooth and reverent pilgrimage experience.
According to the trust, devotees can enter the Mandir premises for darshan between 6:30 am and 9:30 pm. The process, from entry to exit after darshan, is designed to be simple and convenient, allowing devotees to glimpse Prabhu Shri Ram Lalla Sarkar within 60 to 75 minutes.
Devotees are advised to leave personal belongings such as mobile phones, footwear, and purses outside the Mandir premises to facilitate their darshan experience and save time.
While visiting the Ram Mandir, it is recommended not to bring offerings such as flowers, garlands, or prasad.
Entry for special Aartis, including Mangala Aarti at 4 am, Shringar Aarti at 6:15 am, and Shayan Aarti at 10 pm, requires an entry pass. The trust emphasizes that no entry passes are needed for other Aartis.
To obtain an entry pass, devotees must provide essential information such as their name, age, Aadhar card, mobile number, and city. These passes can be acquired free of charge through the website of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
The trust categorically states that there are no provisions for special darshan by paying a fee or obtaining any special pass. Any such claims suggesting payment for darshan should be considered fraudulent.
Wheelchairs are available within the Mandir premises for elderly and differently-abled devotees. While there is no rental fee for the wheelchairs, a nominal fee is requested for the assistance provided by young volunteers.
As devotees continue to throng the Ram Mandir, these guidelines aim to facilitate a sacred and organized pilgrimage experience for all visitors.
