Badrinath Dham Door Opening: The doors of Yamunotri, Gangotri and Kedarnath Dham have opened in Uttarakhand. Now the doors of world famous Badrinath Dham, the last center of Chardham, are also going to open today. Badrinath Dham will also open for devotees to visit from 7.10 am on Thursday, amid Vedic chanting and rain of flowers. For this Badrinath Dham has been decorated with 25 quintals of flowers. Along with Badrinath, the ancient monasteries and temples located in the Dham are also decorated with marigold flowers.
Hundreds of devotees have reached the Dham to have darshan of Akhand Jyoti, and movement has also started at the yatra halts. About 20 thousand pilgrims are expected to reach the Dham during the opening of the doors today. Madhav Prasad Nautiyal has also reached the Dham as a representative of Tehri Raja for the inauguration.
Special arrangements made for parking
SP Pramendra Doval of Chamoli district said that special training has been given to the policemen so that the devotees coming to Badrinath Dham do not face any problem. Several different police teams have been deployed for traffic management and crowd control in Badrinath Dham. Arrangements have been made for parking of vehicles at many places, so that more and more vehicles can be parked there.
Ahead of Lambagad, heavy icebergs are lying at various places on the Alaknanda river. There are icebergs on the highway side near Radang Band, so this time the passengers will get a chance to see Lord Badrivishal as well as see snow from close quarters.
