In the wake of gangster-politician Mukhtar Ansari’s recent demise, the superintendent of Banda jail, where Ansari was previously housed, faced a chilling threat to his life. Police revealed that shortly after Ansari’s death, an unidentified individual issued a death threat to the jail superintendent via phone call.

According to Sharma’s report, the threat came in the form of a late-night call from an unknown caller using a landline number, warning of imminent harm. This alarming incident occurred just hours after Ansari’s demise on March 28th.

While Ansari’s post-mortem attributed his passing to cardiac arrest, suspicions and controversies surrounding his death persist, with some alleging foul play. Ansari’s funeral in Ghazipur saw heightened security measures due to the large turnout.

The call to Superintendent Sharma, laden with threats, underscores the volatile atmosphere following Ansari’s demise. Investigations into the origin of the threatening call are ongoing, with authorities yet to ascertain the identity of the perpetrator.

Despite the timing of the threat coinciding with Ansari’s death, the full extent of its implications remains uncertain until further investigations unfold.
