Banks will remain closed for 15 days in April

Banking regulator Reserve Bank of India issues a list of holidays for banks in the country. There will be a total of 15 days holidays for banks in April this year. This includes festivals, anniversaries and weekend holidays. The month is starting with a holiday. This time in April, banks will remain closed on many other occasions including Ambedkar Jayanti, Mahavir Jayanti, Eid-ul-Fitr. Apart from this, there are weekend holidays for a total of seven days.

Online facilities like net banking, mobile banking will continue to run even on holidays, so that customers do not face any kind of trouble due to bank holidays. Through all these, you can easily transact from one account to another. Apart from this, you can meet the shortage of cash through ATMs. At the same time, through the Unified Payment Interface ie UPI, you can easily receive and give payments.

April 8 (Saturday) – Second Saturday of the month

April 14 (Friday) – Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti / Bohag Bihu
