Bathinda Military Station Firing: Police arrested one Army jawan, four killed in firing

New Delhi: Police has arrested an army jawan on Monday (April 17) in the firing case at Bathinda Military Station. However, the police are yet to confirm the arrest. Bathinda Police is going to hold a press conference at 12 noon. A firing incident took place in Punjab's Bathinda military station on Wednesday (April 12) morning. 4 jawans were killed in it.

New Delhi: On Monday, Police has arrested an army jawan in the firing case at Bathinda Military Station. However, the police are yet to confirm the arrest. Bathinda Police is going to hold a press conference at 12 noon.A firing incident took place in Punjab’s Bathinda military station on Wednesday morning. 4 jawans were killed in it.

The army issued the statement about the incident. It was said that “During the incident of firing at Bathinda Military Station, four soldiers of an artillery unit died due to the shot. Any other young man is not reported to the loss of injury or property.

The area has been sealed and Punjab Police Joint investigation is being done.” The army had denied the incident of a terrorist attack.

Bathinda’s SSP Gulnith Khuna said that according to the information shared by the army, a terrorist is not doubt about the danger. The rifle army had disappeared two days ago that a two days before firing disappeared from inside the inside of an Inas Rifle and 28 rounds.

The police had told that 19 empty kiosks were recovered from the spot rifle. The rifle was also recovered by the police. Police are investigating the possible use of Inas.
