Bengaluru: A student died by suicide in Bengaluru allegedly after he was suspended from his college. He was 22-year-old .While giving information about the incident, the police said that the student died by consuming pills.
According to the details, the student was studying hotel management at the college. After the allegations leveled by the student’s family, the police registered a case against the college authorities and started an investigation.
Reportedly, the first-year student was suspended for short attendance. The police also found a suicide note on the spot. A senior police officer said, “About a month ago, the student was suspended due to his bad behaviour, indiscipline and frequent absence from the college. He was in deep depression due to this incident, and due to this he allegedly took some pills on Thursday which led to his death.”
Speaking on this incident, the police said they would speak to the college principal and faculty members to ascertain the exact cause of the extreme step. The parents demanded strict action against the college administration over the student’s suicide.Investigations into the case were underway.
