The deceased has been identified as Prema. According to the information, the actor was arrested by police.

The incident occurred at 9:45 pm on Saturday night when the actor’s car first hit an electric pole and then hit a couple walking on foot near Vasanth nagar main road. An FIR has been lodged with Kumaraswamy traffic police station in Bengaluru. The police in the complaint have called this speeding and negligent driving. He was heading towards Konanakunte from Uttarahalli.
According to the information, The actor first hit the couple, then straight away rammed into an electric pole. Actor himself admitted the injured to the hospital at night. While the 48-year-old woman passed away after the accident, the 58-year-old man is undergoing treatment at Fortis Hospital. He suffered injuries to both his legs, head, and stomach.
The actor made his debut with Ikkat and his performance in the film. For the film he bagged the Best Debutant Actor award. The actor was last seen in Kousalya Supraja Rama. The comedy-drama also stars Darling Krishna, Milana Nagaraj, and Brinda Acharya in the lead roles. He was nominated for the Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Badava Rascal.
