Experts say that due to this high-speed incident, the train could have overturned, due to which a big accident could have happened and many people could have lost their lives. Railway officials have started an investigation into the incident. It is being investigated how the bogies got separated from the moving train.

This incident with Satyagraha Express happened near Bettiah Majhaulia railway station on the up line. Due to the sudden separation of bogies from the moving train on the Muzaffarpur Narkatiaganj railway section, the passengers sitting in it got a severe jolt and fell from their seats. This created panic among the passengers. Railway officials who reached the spot believe that a new bogie was added to the train today from Raxaul. Probably this bogie could not connect properly with the rest of the bogies.

The engine pilot of Satyagraha Express was not immediately informed about the sudden separation of 5 coaches from the train. Due to this the engine kept running for several kilometres. After going several kilometers, when the pilot came to know about the incident, he stopped the engine. Bringing the engine to the bogies, they were linked again. Due to this, train operations on this track were affected for a long time.
