Mumbai: A video of an alleged scuffle between cricketer Prithvi Shaw and his fans outside a 5-star hotel in Mumbai has gone viral. Shaw had said in the police complaint that his friend’s car was attacked by fans after he refused to click a selfie. At the same time, a young woman claims that Shaw and his friends assaulted her.
Bhojpuri actress Sapna Gill has been arrested for manhandling Prithvi Shaw and attacking Shaw’s friend’s car along with her friends. The police had earlier registered a case against 8 people in this matter. According to the police, the accused vandalized the car and then demanded ₹50,000 to settle the matter.
Social media influencer Sapna Gill’s lawyer has claimed that Sapna went to cricketer Prithvi Shaw as a fan only to take a selfie. According to the lawyer, Prithvi was drunk and hit Sapna with a bat. Significantly, Sapna has been arrested on charges of scuffle with Prithvi Shaw.
Sapna, who has a following of 2,19,000 on Instagram, hails from Chandigarh and currently resides in Mumbai. She uploads content ranging from entertainment and dance videos to fashion photos on social media platforms.
