Big accident in Vadodara: Tanker-truck caught fire in head-on collision, three burnt to death

A truck and a tanker collided in Gujarat's Vadodara district on Sunday morning. After this, a fire broke out in the driver's cabin of both. The driver and tanker cleaner of both the vehicles were burnt to death due to the fire.

A horrific road accident has come to the fore on the Padra-Jambusar highway in Vadodara. 3 people died tragically in a head-on collision between a truck and a trucker. A massive fire broke out in both the vehicles as soon as they collided. This created a panic situation and hindered the evacuation of the trapped driver and cleaner. All three were burnt to death by the time the fire brigade arrived. The local police have registered a case of accident on this road accident.

According to the information received by the police, the accident took place at 6.30 am near Masar village, 40 km from Vadodara city. It is believed that the driver of the tanker lost control and the collision occurred. Due to this, there was a collision with a truck standing on the other side of the road. The collision between the two vehicles was so strong that its sound was heard far and wide. The vehicles caught fire within seconds after the collision. After the accident, the local police have registered a case of accident.

As soon as the information about the incident was received, the fire brigade and the police team reached the accident spot. The fire brigade extinguished the fire using water cannon, after which the bodies of the driver were recovered from the truck and tanker. After this, the police sent the dead bodies of all three to the hospital for postmortem. The police officer further said that another injured person has been admitted to a government hospital in Vadodara.
