Bihar: CBI has taken major action in Railway Recruitment scam. CBI has arrested Bhola Yadav, a close aide of former Bihar CM and former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav and his OSD. The matter is about land for job and IRCTC scam. He was called for questioning four days ago, but he did not go. Raids have also been conducted at Bhola Yadav’s Patna and Darbhanga residences on Wednesday.
Bhola Yadav was the OSD of Lalu Yadav from 2004 to 2009. Lalu Yadav was the Union Railway Minister at that time. At the same time there was a recruitment scam in the Railways. It is alleged that Bhola Yadav is the alleged kingpin of the scam. He was also elected MLA from Bahadurpur seat in the 2015 Bihar Assembly elections. However, he lost the election from Hayaghat seat in the 2020 elections. He is also considered very close to Tejashwi Yadav.
Actually, this matter is related to the recruitment scam. It is alleged that land and plots were taken in lieu of getting jobs when Lalu Yadav was the Railway Minister. After investigation in this case, CBI has registered a case against Lalu Yadav, Rabri Devi, Misa Yadav, Hema Yadav and some such candidates who were given jobs in lieu of plot or property.
