The Indian team has suffered a major setback before the Mission World Cup. Jasprit Bumrah is out of T20 World Cup, Jasprit Bumrah will not be able to play the World Cup due to injury. The T20 World Cup is to start in Australia from 16 October.

New Delhi: Indian cricket team ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the T20 World to be held in Australia due to a serious back stress fracture. According to sources, Bumrah does not require any surgery for 4-6 months. Let us tell you that Bumrah was not even a part of the Asia Cup 2022 but he did return to the team from the second T20 of the series against Australia. But Bumrah did not accompany the team to Trivandrum for the series against South Africa.

A BCCI official told sources that Bumrah has a stress fracture and could be out of action for months.

A BCCI official told sources that Bumrah has a stress fracture and may be away from cricket for several months. On condition of anonymity, a senior BCCI, “It is a certainty that Bumrah will not play in the T20 World Cup. His back is in very bad condition. It is a stress fracture and he will be away from cricket for six months.

In the absence of Bumrah, the Indian team had to struggle to save runs in the death over every time in the Asia Cup match. The Bhuvneshwar Kumar-led pace attack was unsuccessful in getting India out of difficult conditions. After which the fans were eagerly waiting for the return of Bumrah.

According to sources, Jasprit Bumrah’s injury is serious and he can stay away from the cricket field for about 4 to 6 weeks. sources has confirmed the exit of Jasprit Bumrah from the T20 World Cup quoting BCCI sources.

“Bumrah is not going to play the World T20 for sure. He has a serious back condition. It’s a stress fracture and he could be out for a period of six months,” a senior BCCI official told sources on conditions of anonymity.

Bumrah, who played two T20s against Australia, didn’t travel with the team to Thiruvananthapuram for the series opener against South Africa.

Bumrah is the second senior star player to be ruled out after Ravindra Jadeja, who is recovering from a knee surgery.
