The Supreme Court asked Nupur Sharma to file a petition in the Delhi High Court seeking quashing of the FIRs registered against her. The Supreme Court by its order handed over all the FIRs registered against Nupur to the Delhi Police. Delhi Police will now investigate the matter.

The court, in its order, has accepted that Nupur Sharma’s life is in danger, such cases have come to the fore which confirms this. For this reason all the FIRs are being transferred to Delhi. It has also been emphasized that Delhi Police is well trained and can investigate all the FIRs simultaneously.

The court has also emphasized that we do not want to put any condition on the investigating agencies. If IFSO feels that some assistance is required or information is required from state agencies, they can take help for the same. On the other hand, even if a new FIR is filed against Nupur, Nupur will not be arrested. That FIR will also be transferred to Delhi Police.

For information, let us tell you that the last hearing in this case was held on July 19. Then the Supreme Court had stayed the arrest of Nupur Sharma till August 10. Now even in Wednesday’s order, the ban on Nupur’s arrest is going to continue. On the other hand, accepting their demand, all the complaints have been transferred to Delhi.
