Rohtas: 13 coaches of goods train derailed in Rohtas, Bihar. The incident is being told of Wednesday night. The accident happened between Karabandiya and Pahleja railway station. The goods train was going from DDU towards Gaya. Meanwhile, 13 coaches in the down line derailed one by one near Tendua Dusadhi village. After the incident, the team of railway officials has reached the spot. Efforts are being made to normalize operations. Employees are busy clearing the line.

All the coaches of the goods train were empty
Due to the incident, the operation of the Dedicated Freight Corridor carrying freight on both the up and down lines was disrupted. All the coaches of the goods train were empty. After derailment, many coaches were scattered around and some fell in the wheat field. Some have lost their test. It is being said that somehow by Thursday evening both the lines will be made normal.
Railway’s Chief General Manager Pawan Kumar also reached the spot. He told that 13 coaches were derailed. Four or five have been damaged. Said that the priority now is to fit the track and run the vehicle. The operation of the goods train which has stopped can be started. The track will be fitted on the up line by 2 pm. The damage is more on the down line. The down line will be fitted by 8 pm.
No one’s statement has come forward regarding how the accident happened. The main line has not been affected by the incident. In such a situation, it will not have any effect on passenger trains. Only the route of goods train has been affected.
