Bihar: A heart-wrenching incident happened in Bihar. A man being stabbed over a staggering 30 times with a knife on the roadside in Nawada of Bihar. This incident captured on CCTV camera. After the incident he died soon . A case was registered and efforts to nab the accused were underway, according to the information.
The victim was identified as Rahul Kumar. He was 20-year-old. He was a resident of Shiv Nagar and the only son of Vasudev. Police said Rahul, a student from Varanasi, was in his hometown after Chhath Puja celebrations.
Police further said that CCTV camera footage shows that the accused first threw red chilli powder in the victim’s eyes and then brutally attacked him with a knife. The victim was dragged to a street corner in broad daylight as the accused continued to strike the victim’s body with the weapon.
Meanwhile, several pedestrians and vehicles passed by the crime scene as the accused continued the stabbing. Later, in the absence of a police vehicle or an ambulance, the authorities arranged for an e-rickshaw on which the body of the victim was taken. Meanwhile, the police were scanning nearby CCTV cameras to identify the accused, who according to the police, was a middle-aged man.
Giving information about the incident, Ajay Prasad, Deputy Superintendent of Nawada Police said, “20-year-old Rahul Kumar was attacked with a knife by an unidentified person, approximately 35 to 40 years old, according to eyewitnesses in the vicinity. The victim’s mother is reported to be a jail employee in Munger. The police are on the scene, conducting a detailed investigation. Once the suspect is identified, appropriate action will be taken.”
