Such incidents have happened earlier also. Dozens of villagers have died in Barachatti block so far. On Wednesday morning, a cannon ball released from the firing range fell in the village. The sound of the shells was so loud that many nearby villages echoed.
Among the three people who died, there are three people from the same family. One women and two men have died. He died on the spot itself. At the same time, three people have been injured by sprinkle. He has been sent to Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College Hospital for treatment. The dead include Govind Manjhi (25 years), Suraj Kumar (18 years) and Kanchan Kumari (45 years).
