Patna: Covid blast in Bihar, four foreigners came to Gaya found Covid +ve in RTPCR test. The four foreign nationals who were found to be Corona positive in a random test have been isolated in a hotel in Bodh Gaya. Sensation spread in the district administration and health department after the information that four of the foreign nationals were found to be corona positive.

Civil surgeon Ranjan Singh confirmed that RTPCR test was done at Gaya airport on December 23, whose report came on Monday morning. To prevent the infection from going to a new place, the four foreign nationals found infected were isolated in the same hotel where they stayed. People living around him are being traced. Corona testing counters have also been opened in Bodh Gaya. Investigation counters have been increased at Gaya airport.

On Sunday, A 40-year-old man, who had returned from China, tested positive for coronavirus.

Meanwhile, authorities in the national capital stepped up efforts to contain a potential outbreak by announcing that a mock drill will be conducted across all city government hospitals on Tuesday.

India on Monday registered 196 new coronavirus infections, while the active cases marginally increased to 3,428, according to the Union Health Ministry data.

The Covid case tally was recorded at 4.46 crore (4,46,77,302) while the death count stands at 5,30,695 with two fatalities.
