Patna: Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav may appear in the special court of CBI today in the case of job in exchange of land in Bihar. Today, Tejashwi will appear at the CBI headquarters in Delhi. It is being told that the Delhi High Court asked Tejashwi to appear before the CBI today i.e. Saturday. Let us tell you that, in this case, CBI has sent summons to Tejashwi Yadav three times.

According to media reports, Tejashwi Yadav did not appear before the CBI even for the third time in this case. After which Tejashwi gave a petition in the Delhi High Court. Tejashwi’s lawyer in the High Court said that after this Tejashwi Yadav filed a petition in the Delhi High Court. In which he said that Tejashwi is the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, since the budget session of the assembly was going on.

Along with this, Tejashwi said that his wife’s health is not good. Significantly, Tejashwi’s wife Rajshree is still pregnant. However, even before this, Tejashwi has not joined the CBI inquiry. In such a situation, he had expressed his inability to appear before the CBI.

Let us tell you that this case took place when RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav was the Railway Minister between 2004 and 2009. During that time his family was associated with railway jobs in exchange for land gifted or sold. The CBI had alleged in its chargesheet that appointments were made in the railways in violation of the norms laid down for recruitment. In which it was said that Lalu Yadav had sold the land at a much lower price than the market rate through his close relatives and family members.
