The father of the martyr jawan, who was killed in action in the 2020 Galwan clashes with China is now lodged in jail. Family members have alleged that the martyred jawan's father was thrashed and later arrested by the police for building a memorial for his son on government land in Vaishali's Jandaha.
Patna: The son was martyred in the Galwan Valley in 2020 while fighting the Chinese soldiers. Father made his memorial on the government land in front of the house. Opposing the construction of the memorial, some people lodged a complaint with the police. And the police not only beat the martyr’s father badly, but also arrested him.
These allegations have been leveled against the police of Vaishali in Bihar, after which the people of the village are very angry about this police action. The case pertains to Kajri Buzurg village under Jandaha police station in the district. Jai Kishore, son of Raj Kapoor Singh, who lives here, was martyred in the army clash with Chinese soldiers in the Galvan Valley.
It is alleged that after the martyrdom of Jai Kishore, his father got his son’s memorial built on government land in front of his house. Jai Kishok’s brother Nandarkishor Singh told that the police asked us to remove the monument within 15 days. After this the police came to the house and arrested the father. After this, while beating them, took them with them and also abused them.
Nandkishore questioned that when the memorial was completed, the local authorities also inaugurated it. Then now the police is also taking action. Let us tell you that this dispute started in December last year, when Raj Kapoor Singh erected a wall to siege his son’s memorial. After this, Raj Kapoor Singh’s neighbor Harinath Ram complained to the police that Raj Kapoor Singh had erected a wall around the monument on government land without government permission.
Harinath Ram also alleged that Raj Kapoor Singh had also violated the contract where the martyr’s father would have to buy a piece of land for Harinath Ram at some other place, as the place where the memorial was built was Harinath used to come in the middle of the way to Ram’s house, due to which he had difficulty in commuting.
Harinath Ram complained to the police about this, after which the local police manhandled Raj Kapoor Singh and then arrested him and put him in jail. The video of his arrest is becoming increasingly viral on social media. Various sections of IPC including various sections of SC/ST have been imposed against Raj Kapoor Singh.
