Bihar Liquor Tragedy: 6 Dead after consuming toxic liquor in Chhapra

In Chhapra, Bihar, five people and one person in Begusarai died due to spurious liquor. However, the death due to consumption of alcohol has not been confirmed by the Chhapra administration.

Bihar/ Chhapra: In spite of liquor ban in Bihar, once again the havoc of poisonous liquor has been seen. Here in Chhapra, 5 people and one person in Begusarai died after consuming spurious liquor. At the same time, the condition of 6 people is still bad, whose treatment is going on in Chhapra Sadar Hospital. All the deceased are said to be residents of Mashrak, Isuapur and Amnaur. However, the death due to consumption of alcohol has not been confirmed by the Chhapra administration.

According to reports, the persons who allegedly died after consuming spurious liquor have been identified as Sanjay Singh and Bichendra Rai and Amit Ranjan of Doila village under Isuapur police station area. There, there is news of the death of Kunal Kumar Singh and Harendra Ram of Mashrak police station area. While one of the youths admitted to the hospital in critical condition has been identified as Amit Ranjan, resident of Doila village of Isuapur police station area and Harendra Ram, resident of Mashrak police station area. While others have not been identified.

There has been chaos in the village after this incident. So there, there has been a stir in the district administration after the death of five people together. According to the news, the doctors have expressed such apprehension that the five persons died due to drinking poisonous liquor. However, the real cause of death will be known correctly only after the postmortem report comes.

One youth dies in Begusarai
Apart from Chhapra, a person died in suspicious condition in Begusarai, after which there was hue and cry among the family members. Relatives say that the person died due to excessive drinking. However, the police-administration has not yet confirmed the death due to drinking alcohol.

At present, the police is engaged in the investigation of the whole matter. This case is related to Virpur village of Virpur police station area. The deceased has been identified as 50-year-old Suresh Rai. Relatives of the incident told that on Tuesday, Suresh Rai was drinking alcohol while sitting at a shop in Virpur. Since then his health deteriorated while sitting at the same shop.
