Bishnoi gang delivers threat letter to Salman Khan to extort money: police

Mumbai: Jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his aides have been in the news since the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala.  Mumbai Police busted film star Salman Khan’s threat letter case. The police identified the persons who were involved in delivering the letter to the actor’s father, Salim Khan.

This information has been exposed during the interrogation of accused Siddhesh Hiraman Kamble, alias Mahakal, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. He told the police that one of the members of Bishnoi’s gang, Vikram Barad, had given the letter to Salim Khan.

“Jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi was responsible for issuing the letter to Salman Khan and his father, Salim Khan.” The police said on Thursday that three people from his gang had come from Jalore, Rajasthan, to Mumbai to drop the letter and had met accused Saurabh Mahakal.

The police further said that the crime branch had identified the people who had delivered the letter.

Meanwhile, several Delhi Police officials reached Pune on Wednesday to investigate the murder case of popular Punjabi rapper and Congress leader Sidhu Moose Wala in Punjab, the official said.

Delhi Police on Wednesday said that gangster Lawrence Bishnoi is the mastermind behind the killing of popular Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala.
