BJP asks its MPs to land in Delhi two days before presidential poll on July 18

New Delhi: Who will be the next president of India? The result is almost declared, but the formalities have to be completed. The NDA-nominated candidate, Droupadi Murmu, is most likely to be the next President of the country.

Regarding the forthcoming president’s election on July 18, the BJP has asked its MPs to land in Delhi by July 16 and they have to stay here till the presidential poll, so that all of them can cast their votes.

During these two days, the saffron party is set to organise a training session to make all the MPs aware of how to vote in the presidential polls.

The BJP’s national president, JP Nadda, has been preparing to host a dinner meeting with all the party’s MPs on July 16.

In the upcoming polls, the YSR Congress, BJD and a few other parties have made up their minds to support Droupadi Murmu. It seems like it would be a cake walk for her to be elected as the next president.

Yashwant Sinha is the opposition’s candidate. But he is nowhere near posing any challenge to Droupadi Murmu. Several parties are supporting the veteran politician, but their numbers are too small to create any difficulty for Murmu.
