According to the information given by the sources, the official website of Bharatiya Janata Party was taken down after being allegedly hacked although no confirmed information has been received about the hacking.
Several screenshots of the hacked page appeared on Twitter. An abusive message on top of the page implied the party is fooling the Indian citizens. That was followed by a GIF of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
At the time of writing this article, the website showed ‘Error 522’. But a few minutes later, the website showed a message stating that they will be ‘back soon.’
Twitter erupted with reactions after the incident, from asking how the BJP will handle the nation when they cannot handle their website to questioning why the EVMs cannot be hacked if the party’s website can be.
