The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to launch a campaign called Agrasar Gujarat, in which party members will have to set foot in all 182 assembly constituencies where elections are scheduled to take place in two phases on December 1 and 5.

During this campaign, the party members would like to take into account the feedback of over 10 million people regarding the further development of the state. The campaign will be concluded by November 15.
The BJP has been planning to depute a central ministers’ team ahead of two-phase assembly polls in the state to interact with voters all over the state to seek their opinions and suggestions amid the new policies and the ongoing challenges, said a party functionary.
Senior party leaders, including state leaders, will cover all constituencies and make a door-to-door meeting to talk with people. “The party will organise specific meetings of different professions, such as professionals, artists, farmers, women, and the youth,” the functionary said.
Voters will have the right to give advice and suggestions through missed calls on this number, 7878182182. On the party’s website, people can drop their advice in suggestion boxes that will be put up all over the constituencies.
A schedule was being prepared for Union ministers amid their travels to the state and interactions with voters. The duty of Union Minister Piyush Goyal is to interact with the working professionals in Surat, while Mahender Nath Pandey will contact street vendors and industrial workers.
BJP’s youth wing leader Tejasvi Surya will contact first-time voters. “Senior ministers leaders like Anurag Singh Thakur, Smriti Irani, Giriraj Singh, and Vijay Rupala will also be involved in this campaign.
