Karnataka: BJP Yuva Morcha district secretary Praveen Nettaru was brutally murdered in Karnataka’s Dakshina Kannada district on Tuesday night. Praveen used to run a poultry shop near the Bellare area. After working all day, when Praveen was returning home after closing the shop, at around 9 o’clock in the night, bike-borne miscreants attacked him with a sharp weapon. Praveen succumbed to his serious injuries.
At the same time, Dakshina Kannada SP Sonawane Rishikesh told that investigation has been started in this matter. If there is a CCTV camera at the place of crime, then with the help of its footage, the attackers will be searched. Apart from this, the police has also started questioning the close people of the youth leader.
Police said that the reason for the murder is yet to be ascertained. On the other hand, BJP Karnataka President Naleen Kumar Kateel will go to the hospital on Wednesday morning to see the dead body of the youth leader.
CM Bommai expressed grief
Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai expressed grief over the killing of BJP youth leader. He tweeted, “The brutal murder of our party worker Praveen Nettaru from Dakshina Kannada district is condemnable. Those who commit such heinous crime will be arrested soon and punished under the law. May Praveen’s soul rest in peace. May God give strength to his family to bear this loss.”
There is a lot of anger among the workers after the murder of the leader of BJP Yuva Morcha. They have sat on the streets at night to protest the killing of Praveen Nettaru. During this, he demanded justice by arresting the criminals soon.
In Karnataka, on June 23, BJP leader Mohammad Anwar was stabbed to death by unidentified assailants riding a bike in Gauri Kaluve area at around 9.30 pm. Mohammad Anwar was the BJP general secretary of Chikmagalur’s urban unit. At the same time, local BJP leaders had termed Anwar’s murder as a conspiracy. BJP MP Shobha Karandlaje had alleged that local fundamentalists were behind the murder.
