New Delhi: Veteran actor Annu Kapoor has been admitted to the hospital after complaining of chest pain. However, his condition is said to be stable. According to media reports, Annu Kapoor has been admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on Thursday morning. According to Dr. Ajay Swaroop, President (Board of Management) of the hospital, Annu Kapoor has been admitted due to chest problem. His condition is stable.
Sources has quoted Sachin, Annu Kapoor’s manager, as saying how the actor’s health is now. According to Sachin, Annu Kapoor’s condition is now stable. He said that ‘Annu Kapoor is better now than before. He has also eaten food and is also talking to everyone. Annu Kapoor is under the care of cardiologist Dr. Sushant Wattal at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.
Annu Kapoor is most popular for hosting the music program Antakshari in the late 90s. Annu Kapoor rose to fame with his performances in Mr. India (1987), Tezaab (1988), Ram Lakhan (1990), Ghayal (1990) and Darr (1993). He will be seen in ‘Dream Girl 2’ alongside Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Pandey. Annu Kapoor was also a part of the first season of the film. He played the role of Ayushmann’s on-screen father.
The actor is known for outstanding performances in films such as `Hum`, `Ek Ruka Hua Faisla`, `Ram Lakhan`, `Ghayal`, `Hum Kisise Kum Nahin`, `Aitraaz`, `7 Khoon Maaf`, `Jolly LLB 2`, and many more.
