Mumbai: Bollywood lovable couple Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani are all set to embark on a new chapter in their lives as they plan to tie knot in the presence of family and close friends on February 21 at the luxurious ITC Grand in South Goa. Recently, the couple, along with the families, have been seen in and around Mumbai doing last minute wedding preparations.
Rakul and Jackky reportedly fell in love in Goa, making it the perfect venue for their wedding. The couple chose the luxurious ITC Grand in South Goa, known for its eco-friendly practices and sustainable initiatives, as their venue. The three-day event will focus on green initiatives, including digital-only invitations, no fireworks displays and balancing the carbon footprint of the wedding by planting trees. The decision to have a green wedding reflects the couple’s dedication to sustainable living and their desire to set an example for others in the film industry.
Initially, Rakul and Jackky had planned to marry in the Middle East, but they changed their venue to Goa following PM Modi’s call to action to promote Indian destinations. The couple’s decision to get married in India has been welcomed by fans and the film industry alike.
Rakul Preet Singh, who made her debut in Hindi cinema with ‘Yaariyan’, has expressed her excitement about getting married in Goa. “We are thrilled to be getting married in India and promoting our beautiful country,” she said.
