Mumbai: Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s film Brahmastra, directed by director Ayan Mukerji, released on 9 September, has exploded at the box office on the first day. The record set by this film in terms of advance booking has been seen on the first day’s earnings.
The film Brahmastra has made a big bang at the box office on the first day. Makers claim that this film has given 75 crore opening. It was told by Dharma Productions by tweeting that the film has earned Rs 75 crore worldwide on the first day. It is getting information that the film has collected from 36.50 crores to 38.50 crores in India.

The film’s producer Karan Johar shared the update on Instagram and captioned his post, “Humbled… Grateful…but yet can’t control my excitement!” The post says: ‘Worldwide box office gross day 1 ₹75 crore. Brahmastra Part One: Shiva. Thank you’. The movie has managed to have an impressive opening amid boycott reports. ‘Brahmāstra’ was released in theatres in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam on Friday.
Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna have been seen playing important roles along with Ranbir-Alia in Brahmastra. The special thing about the film is that it also has a cameo of Shah Rukh Khan. The video of Shahrukh’s cameo is becoming very viral on social media. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh had shared on Friday that the film released on 5019 screens in India and on around 3894 screens overseas, making it a total screen count of 8,913 screens. The film has also recorded a decent advance booking for the weekend.
