New Delhi: BookMyShow on Wednesday canceled Punjabi-Canadian singer Shubneet Singh's India tour after the ticket booking app faced boycott calls on social media for allegedly hosting the pro-Khalistani singer. In a post on BookMyShow's website, BookMyShow said that it will provide full refund of the tickets within 7-10 days.
New Delhi: BookMyShow on Wednesday canceled Punjabi-Canadian singer Shubneet Singh’s India tour after the ticket booking app faced boycott calls on social media for allegedly hosting the pro-Khalistani singer. In a post on BookMyShow’s website, BookMyShow said that it will provide full refund of the tickets within 7-10 days.
In its statement, BookMyShow said that “Singer Shubneet Singh’s Still Rollin’ Tour for India has been cancelled. For this, BookMyShow has started full refund of the ticket amount for all those consumers. Those who had purchased tickets for the show will be refunded soon. The refund will be reflected in the source account of the customer’s original transaction within 7-10 working days.”

Shubh is an Punjabi rapper who rose to fame due to his song ‘Still Rollin’ getting a huge number of streams on Instagram Reels. He released his first breakout single ‘We Rollin’ in 2021 and as of 2023, it has received over 201 million views on YouTube. He recently released his debut album ‘Still Rollin’ and announced his first India tour this year, playing in 10 different cities and a cruise.
