Earlier this month, Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) cancelled the 67th Combined Competitive Preliminary Exam 2022, which was conducted on May 8, 2022, in various centres of the state. According to media reports, the question paper for the 67th Combined Competitive Preliminary Exam went viral on social media.
Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued a notification announcing that the written examination for Assistant Engineer (Civil) posts has been postponed. Candidates can visit the official website of BPSE (bpsc.bih.nic.in) to check the notification related to the postponement of the examination.
The exam was tentatively scheduled to be conducted on June 12 and June 13, 2022. Now the commission has decided to postpone it until further notice. The move comes weeks before the exam dates. This has been done for “unavoidable reasons,” BPSC said.
The commission’s notification states that the “Assistant Engineer (Civil) competitive examination scheduled for 12.06.2022 and 13.06.2022 has been postponed due to unavoidable reasons.” “A revised schedule will be declared later,” BPSC said.
Candidates must note that the Assistant Engineer written examination that has been postponed is under advertisement number 7/2020. Assistant Engineer (Civil) exam under the advertisement number 3/2020 is scheduled to be conducted on July 2 and July 3, 2022, and there is no information regarding its postponement has been provided by the commission.
The Assistant Engineer exams for the Electrical and Mechanical branches, which are to be conducted on July 2 and July 3, 2022, will take place without any changes.
