The Border Security Force (BSF) fired at a suspected Pakistani drone near the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir. Officials reported this incident on Wednesday.

Drone Spotted at Khanetar Garrison
BSF soldiers at the Khanetar garrison noticed a drone crossing the border around 11:30 PM on Tuesday. They quickly fired three dozen rounds at the drone to bring it down, showing their readiness and quick response.

Area Secured; Search Operation Started
After spotting the drone, an alert was issued, and the area was secured with a strict cordon. Early Wednesday morning, a thorough search operation began to make sure the area was safe and to find any potential threats.

Cash Reward for Drone Information
The Jammu and Kashmir Police are offering a cash reward of Rs 3 lakh for any information leading to the interception of drones suspected of carrying weapons or drugs. This reward encourages the public to help security forces stop illegal cross-border activities.

Mute Woman from PoK Detained in Rajouri
In another incident on May 29, a 45-year-old mute woman from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) was detained by the Indian Army in Rajouri. She was identified through an ID card from Sakhi Nath village in Kotli district, PoK. Officials believe she accidentally crossed into Indian territory.
