Amritsar: Late on Thursday night, the Border Security Force (BSF) began searching for a drone that had twice flown into the Rajatal border station near Amritsar from Pakistan.
As per the BSF officers, the drone returned after BSF personnel started firing.
This is the third time that drones from Pakistan have entered the country in the past three months.
The BSF opened fire in mid August after spotting a drone close to the Indo-Pakistan border in Punjab’s Attari area.
Security personnel along the India-Pakistan border chased a drone away in July. The incident happened close to Pathankot’s Bamiyal border.
Infiltration of Pakistan always takes place near the border area. The Pakistani army is trying to create a disturbance. Their trained men enter to disturb the peaceful atmosphere of the country.
