Punjab: A suspected Pakistani drone intruding into Indian territory along the International Border in Punjab Tarn Taran has been shot down by BSF personnel, a force official said on Saturday.
Punjab: A suspected Pakistani drone intruding into Indian territory along the International Border in Punjab Tarn Taran has been shot down by BSF personnel, a force official said on Saturday.
According to the official, the Border Security Force personnel spotted the drone on Friday night and immediately reacted and intercepted it. The shot down drone was recovered from a field in Lakhna village on Saturday morning during a joint search operation by BSF and Punjab Police.
In a tweet, the force said, “BSF personnel intercepted and shot down a Pakistani drone violating Indian airspace in Lakhna village of Tarn Taran district. Once again, Pakistan’s nefarious designs have been foiled by BSF.”
