Buttler makes match one-sided

Clicking in the crunch match is a sign of a class player. Jos Buttler remained unbeaten on 106 in just 60 deliveries. His spectacular innings made the one-sided match and the match turned to insignificance amidst one team’s show all around the ground.

One match of this season’s IPL is left. This match will decide the winner of this coveted trophy. The Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals are gearing up for a title clash. The grand finale is to be held on Sunday. In their maiden appearance, the Gujarat Titans are looking to grab the first title.

RR would like to break the jinx and are ready to put every ounce of their energy into lifting the trophy a second time. RR emerged victorious in 2008, the inaugural trophy being captioned by spin legend Shane Warne. RR have a golden opportunity to overpower GT in the final and pay a perfect tribute to Shane Warne.

Most of the time, the final in any sporting event almost never raises the level of the game. After all, players are human beings too. They have to bear the pressure and backlash of the fans and team management. Strong nerve players never allow nervousness to show on their faces. Several players choked down in the final.

On the paper, both sides look well-balanced. The Gujarat Titans did well in the previous matches under the leadership of Hardik Pandya. As a captain, he has marshalled his troops with authority.

Sanju Samson has been reckoned as the most influential captain in this edition of the IPL. Former India wicketkeeper-batter Parthiv Patel lavished praise on Sanju Samson for his calm attitude on the field and concentrating fully on the match.

The grand finale is to be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The pitch of this stadium is placid and scoring runs is easy for batters. The quick outfield certainly helps the batsmen to get more boundaries despite the long boundary of the gigantic stadium. Bowlers have to remain disciplined, and there is no margin of error for them.

The Gujarat Titans are the newbies in the 15th edition of the IPL. Both sides met twice in this edition. In both cases, GT outmatched RR and held a 2-0 lead in the head-to-head count.

The final is a different ballgame. Both teams have an equal opportunity and the better team will be the winner. An absorbing battle is on the cards for the mouth-watering match between GT and RR. Get ready for the grand finale. See! Which team will  script history on Sunday? It is a million dollar question.
