Cash-strapped Go First airlines suspended all its flight operation till May 30

Troubled domestic airline GoFirst on Saturday announced that its flight operations will remain suspended till May 30. Giving information on the refund of the passengers, the company said that soon the refund will be issued to all the passengers through the original mode of payment. File photo.

Cash-strapped Go First airlines suspended all its flight operation till May 30

New Delhi: Troubled domestic airline GoFirst on Saturday announced that its flight operations will remain suspended till May 30. However, the airline said that a full refund would be issued to the passengers. It may be noted that earlier GoFirst had canceled its flights till May 28. Go First has given information about this in a tweet.

Airline GoFirst said on its official Twitter, “Due to operational reasons, all GoFirst flights are canceled till May 30, 2023. We apologize for the inconvenience caused to passengers.” The airline said that we regret to inform you that all scheduled flights of the company have been canceled till May 30, 2023.

Passengers will be issued full refund
Giving information on the refund of the passengers, the company said that soon the refund of all the passengers will be issued through the original mode of payment. It is to be noted that GoFirst had filed for bankruptcy on 2nd of this month to NCLT and had initially announced suspension of its flight services for only two days.

It is known that this announcement of GoFirst has come after the revival plan from the airline by DGCA. DGCA asks GoFirst to submit a comprehensive plan for revival of its operations including details on availability of operational aircraft and pilots within 30 days
