Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming film Pathan is facing many hurdles even before its release. The song Besharam Rang featuring Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan in very glamorous and hot avatars has created a controversy over the use of orange swimwear. Now, the film has been sent to CBFC for censorship ahead of its January 25, 2023 release.

The Censor Board, after reviewing the film, asked the makers to make suggested changes in the film, including the songs. Then, he asked them to submit a revised version of Pathan for re-certification.

Pathan’s first song, Besharam Rang, was released on 12 December. While fans appreciated Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s sizzling chemistry, the film also ran into trouble with Madhya Pradesh minister Dr. Narottam Mishra.

The minister was incensed at the use of saffron costumes in the film. He also said that there are some objectionable scenes in the film and Pathan will be banned in Madhya Pradesh if those scenes are not replaced. He said that the costumes and scenery should be improved or removed.
