Chaitra Navratri Kalash Sthapna 2023: Chaitra Navratri is starting from today. Chaitra Navratri marks the beginning of a new era. Nine different forms of Goddess Durga are worshiped for 9 days during Chaitra Navratri. Ghatasthapana is performed on Chaitra Pratipada Tithi and fasting is performed after worshiping the girl child on Ashtami and Navami Tithi. Devotees of Maa Durga observe fast for 9 days of Chaitra Navratri and perform worship and meditation. According to the Hindu calendar, there are 4 Navratris in a year, in which Chaitra and Sharadiya Navratri have special significance. Establishment of Kalash is considered very important in Chaitra Navratri, it is said that where Ghats are established, sorrow and poverty are destroyed and by the grace of Maa Durga, there is sweetness in married life and happiness of children. There are some rules of Ghatasthapana which are necessary to be followed, otherwise the fasting and worship become futile. This time the festival of Chaitra Navratri will start from 22nd March 2023 and will continue till 30th March. Let us know about the auspicious time and worship method for the establishment of Kalash on the first day of Chaitra Navratri.

Pratipada date of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month starts: March 21, night 10:52 minutes
Pratipada date of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month ends: at 08:20 in the evening
According to Udaya Tithi, this year Chaitra Navratri will start from 22 March 2023.

1-earthen pot
3-Seven types of grains
4- Gangajal
6-betel nut
7- Mango or Ashoka leaves
Coconut with 9 strands
10- Red cloth
11-Flowers and flower garlands
12- Fruits and sweets
13- Barley

Pratipada Tithi will take place on March 21 at 10.53 in the night. That’s why Navratri will start with Kalash Sthapana on March 22 with sunrise. This year the arrival of mother is on a boat, which is called happiness-prosperity factor. 9 forms of mother will be worshiped during the entire 9 days of Navratri. This time Chaitra Navratri will be of full nine days. This time there is a combination of three Sarvartha Siddhi, three Ravi Yoga, two Amrit Siddhi Yoga and Guru Pushya. Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga will take place on 23, 27 and 30 March. Amrit Siddhi Yoga will be held on March 27 and 30 and Ravi Yoga will be held on March 24, 26 and 29. On the last day of Navratri, a great coincidence of Guru Pushya Yoga is taking place on Shri Ram Navami.

Beginning of new year from Chaitra Pratipada

Navasamvatsar begins from Chaitra Pratipada itself, it is believed that on this day Lord Brahma created the earth, hence it becomes even more important. This year’s king will be Mercury and minister will be Venus. Due to which there will be many opportunities for revolution in the education sector and special upliftment of women will also be seen this year.
